Qasida Burdah (The reason for writing this poem)

The writer HAZRAT IMAAM SAALIH SHARA-FUD-DEEN ABU ABDULIAH MUHAMMAD BIN HASAN AL-BUSAIRI R.A had become paralysed. His doctors and physicians gave up all hope of his recovery. Eventually in this state of complete helplessness and despair he composed this poem expressing the grandeur and excellence of Sayyidina Rasuluallah Sallallhu Alayhi Wasallam. Using this as his sole means of asking Allah Ta'alaa to cure him from his illness. He isolated himself in a quiet place one Thursday night and with complete devotion, concentration and sincerity/ began reciting this poem. While reciting it sleep overcame him. He had a vision of Sayyidina. Rasuluallah Sallallhu Alayhi Wasallam. He told Sayyidina Rasuluallah Sallallhu Alayhi Wasallam of his illness whereupon Sayyidina Rasuluallah Sallallhu Alayhi Wasallam passed his blessed hand over Imam Busairi's body. Through the barakat and blessing of Sayyidina, Rasuluallah Sallallhu Alayhi Wasallam Allah Ta’alaa granted him complete cure from his paralysis. When he awoke he found a scarf or shawl on his body which he had seen Sayyidina Rasuluallah Sallallhu Alayhi Wasallam place on his paralysed limbs. This resulted in the poem being named "Qasidah Burdah" (The Poem of the Scarf).

In the morning when due to some necessity. he went to the bazaar, a pious dervish greeted him with salaam and requested him to recite the qasidah which he had composed in praise of Sayyidina Rasuluallah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam The poet said that I have composed many poems in praise of Rasuluallah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam, which one do you wish to hear? The dervish replied: 'The one which begins with, A-min Tazak-kurin (i.e. Qasidah Burdah)". Upon this request the poet became wonder struck and said, "I take an oath that no one knows about this poem. Tell me the truth, from whom did you hear about it?" The dervish replied, "I take an oath by Allah that I heard it from you last night when in a dream you had recited it to Sayyidina Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam, whereupon Sayyidina Rasuluallah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam became attentive towards you and because of its blessings Allah Ta'alaa granted you complete cure from your ailment".

When the poet gave this poem to the dervish his secret became known to all the people and its barakat and blessings too became general for all.

When this poem reached Baha-ud-deen the governor of the country named Tahir, he so highly regarded and respected it that he would stand while listening to it.

It is also narrated that Sa'aadud-deen Farouqi, who was a viceroy of Baha-ud-deen, had became blind. In a dream he saw a pious person who told him to take the Qasidah Burdah from Baha-ud-deen and place it on his eyes. In the morning he told Baha-ud-deen about this dream. The Qasidah Burdah was brought and with full sincerity and conviction Sa'aadud-deen placed it on his eyes. Through its barakat Allah Ta'alaa granted him complete cure and restored his eyesight.

A Poem on Prophet Muhammad (s.a.a.w.) by Allama Iqbal

He slept on a mat of rushes,

But the crown of Chosroes lay beneath the feet of his followers;

He chose the nightly solitude of Mount Hira,

And founded a nation, law and government;

He passed his nights with sleepless eyes,

That his Millet might sleep on Chosroes throne

In the hour of battle, iron was melted by the flash of his sword.

At prayer time, tears fell like drops of rain from his eyes.

In his prayer for Divine help, his Amen' was a sword,

Which extirpated the lineage of kings.

He inaugurated a new Order in the world,

He brought the empires old to an end:

In his sight the high and the low were one,

He sat with the slave at table one;

He burnt clear the distinctions of birth and clan.

His fire consumed all this trash and bran.

A TIME WITH HALIMAH

LIKE many other women in Mecca, Aminah decided to send her son away from the city for his early years to the desert where it was more healthy. Women from the desert used to come to Mecca to collect the new babies and they would then keep them until they developed into strong children, for which they were well paid by the parents.

Among the women who traveled to Mecca to fetch a new baby at the time Aminah's son was born, was a Bedouin woman called Halimah. With her was her husband and baby son. They had always been very poor but this year things were harder than ever because there had been famine. The donkey that earned Halimah on the journey was so weak from hunger that he often stumbled. Halimah's own baby son cried all the time because his mother could not feed him properly. Even their she-camel did not give them one drop of milk. Halimah did not know what to do. She thought to herself, 'How can I possibly feed another baby when I haven't got enough milk even for my own son?' At last they reached Mecca. All the other women of the tribe to which Halimah belonged, the Bani Sa'd, found a child to take back with them, but not Halimah. The only baby left was Muhammad (pbuh). Usually the father paid the wet-nurse but Muhammad's father was dead. So no one wanted to take him, even though he was from one of the noblest families of Quraysh.

Halimah did not want to take him either, but she did not want to be the only woman to go back to her tribe without a baby to bring up. She asked her husband whether she should take Muhammad (pbuh) or not. He advised her to do so, adding, 'Perhaps Allah will bless us because of him.' They started on the return journey and as soon as Halimah began to feed Muhammad (pbuh) her milk suddenly increased and she had enough for him as well as her baby son. When they were back home, everything began to change. The land became green, and the date trees, one of their main sources of food, gave lots of fruit. Even the sheep and their old she-camel began to give plenty of milk. Halimah and her husband knew that this good fortune had come because they had the new baby, Muhammad (pbuh), whom they had come to love as if he were their own son.

When Muhammad (pbuh) was two years old, Halimah took him back to his mother. She pleaded with Aminah, however, to let her keep him for a little longer, and to her great joy the mother agreed. During his time with Halimah's family in the desert, Muhammad (pbuh) played with her children and together they would take the sheep out to graze. At other times, however, Halimah would often find him sitting alone.

It is said that on one occasion, two angels came to Muhammad (pbuh) and washed his heart with snow. In this way Allah made his heart pure for He intended Muhammad (pbuh) to be greater than any man ever born and to become the Seal of the Prophets.

In the Name of Allah the Beneficent, the Merciful
Did We not expand thy breast for thee.
And eased thee of thy burden.
Which weighed down thy back;
And exalted thy fame?
So truly with hardship comes ease,
Truly with hardship comes ease.
So when thou art relieved, still toil
And strive to please thy Lord.

(Koran xciv.1-8)

When Halimah finally took Muhammad (pbuh) back to Aminah, he was a healthy, strong boy. Later he would look back with joy on the time he had spent with Halimah, and he always thought of himself as one of the Bani Sa'd.

THE BIRTH OF ROPHET (PBUH)

ONE day, while traveling north, one of the Arab tribes from Mecca met a hermit in the desert. Some of the men stopped to speak with him. Hermits were known to be wise and the Arabs often asked their advice.

The hermit asked where they had come from. When they replied that they were from Mecca, he told them that Allah would soon send a prophet, who would come from their people. They asked the name of this prophet and the hermit answered that his name would be Muhammad and that he would guide them to a new way of life.

Meanwhile in Mecca, Aminah, although saddened by the loss of her husband, felt especially well and strong as she awaited the birth of her baby. During this time she dreamt of many things. On one occasion it was as if a great light were shining out of her, and on another she heard a voice telling her that she would have a boy and that his name would be Muhammad. She never forgot that voice but she told no one about it.

On Monday, the twelfth day of Rabi al-Awwal in the Year of the Elephant, Aminah gave birth to a son. Allah sends man many signs when one of His chosen Prophets is born and on that twelfth day of Rabi al-Awwal in the year 570 A.D, many such signs were seen. Some were seen by Jewish scholars who had read in their scriptures of a coming Prophet. One of these learned men in Yathrib, for instance, saw a brilliant new star he had never seen before as he studied the heavens that night. He called the people around him and, pointing the star out to them, told them a Prophet must have been born.

That same night another Jew was passing by the meeting place of the leaders of Quraysh in Mecca. He asked them if a baby boy had just been born and told them that if it were true, this would be the Prophet of the Arab nation.

Aminah sent news of the birth to her father-in-law, 'Abd al-Muttalib, who was sitting near the Ka'bah at the time. He was very happy and began at once to think of a name for the boy. An ordinary name would not do. Six days came and went and still he had not decided. But on the seventh day, as he lay asleep near the Ka’bah, 'Abd al-Muttalib dreamt that he should give the baby the unusual name of Muhammad, just as Aminah herself had dreamt. And the child was called Muhammad (pbuh), which means 'the Praised One'.

When 'Abd al-Muttalib told the leaders of Quraysh what he had named his grandson, many of them asked, 'Why did you not choose the sort of name that is used by our people?' At once he replied, 'I want him to be praised by Allah in the heavens and praised by men on earth.'

Map of Kaghan Valley

Shogran

Shogran, one of the most beautiful plateaus in the valley, is situated 34 kilometers from Balakot via Kawai. To reach this quaint place, take a side road on the right after passing through Kawai. From here it is a steep 8 kilometers to Shogran. The road is metalled and normal cars and vans can easily make the drive.

Surrounded by thick pine forests and with an altitude of 7747 feet, the summer climate of Shogran is very mild and pleasant. One of the nicer place to visit is Shogran’s forest rest house. From the rolling grassy lawns of the rest house, one can become immersed breathtaking panoramic views of snow covered mountains. Kaghan Valley’s highest peaks, such as Musa Ka Musalla (4419m), Makra (3885m) and Malika Parbat (5290m), are visible from here. Right FOREX Broker

It’s not always easy to know what to look for in a broker in any market, much less a market as complex as the FOREX. But, if you want to trade in FOREX you need a FOREX broker. While it might be tempting to simply ask the FOREX brokers what they can do for you, you can’t always depend on them to give you a straight answer. Here are a few things to consider when choosing your FOREX broker.

You will want a broker that has low spreads. Since FOREX brokers don't charge a commission, this difference is how they make money. Low spreads will save you money.

Along with this, you should be looking for a broker attached to a reputable institution.

Unlike equity brokers, FOREX brokers are usually attached to large banks or lending institutions. The broker should also be registered with the Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) as well as regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

Once you’ve narrowed your choices down to brokers that won’t cost you too much, and that are reputable, consider the trading tools that they are offering you. FOREX brokers have many different trading platforms for their clients, just like brokers in other markets. These often show real-time charts, technical analysis tools, real-time news and data, and may even offer support for the various trading systems.

Before you commit to any one broker, request free trials of their tools. Brokers generally provide technical as well as fundamental commentaries, economic calendars, and other research to help you make good trades. Shop around until you find a broker who will give you what you need to succeed.

The next item that you will need to evaluate carefully is the number of leverage options your potential broker has. Leverage is a necessity in FOREX trading because the price deviations in the currencies are set at fractions of a cent. Leverage is expressed as a ratio between the total capital that is available to be traded and your actual capital. For example, when you have a ratio of 100:1, your broker will lend you $100 for every $1 of actual capital you have. Many brokerage firms will offer you as much as 250:1. If you have low levels of capital you will need a brokerage with high levels of leverage to make reasonable profits.

If capital is not a problem, any FOREX broker that has a wide variety of leverage options would be a good choice for you. A variety of options will let you vary the amount of risk you choose to take. For example, less leverage (and therefore less risk) may be preferable if you are dealing with highly volatile (exotic) currency pairs.

Along with different levels of leverage, look for FOREX brokers that offer different types of accounts. Many brokers will offer you two or more types. The smallest account is known as a mini account and it requires you to trade with a minimum of around $300. The mini account also generally offers a high amount of leverage.

The standard account allows you to trade at a variety of different leverages, but it requires minimum initial capital of $2,000. And finally, there are premium accounts, which often require significant amounts of capital. They also generally have different levels of leverage available to the traders who use them, and often offer additional tools and services. You will need to make sure that the FOREX broker you choose has the right leverage, tools, and services for the amount of capital that you are able to work with.

Reasons For Getting Into the Forex Trading

There is a great deal of buzz surrounding the whole subject of Forex trading and I am sure that there cannot be many people who are not aware of the stir that it is creating. In the present economic climate though you may well think that, despite the fact that so many people are describing this as a great opportunity, this is something which should be put on the back burner for the time being. Nothing could be farther from the truth however and I am going to give you four very good reasons for getting into currency trading today, rather than tomorrow.
Reason 1 - Trading Times. Currency trading operates in a worldwide market which is effectively open 24 hours a day and this offers two great advantages over many other forms of investment. First, it means that you can trade at a time to suit yourself, whether that is during the normal working day or in the middle of the night. Second, it means that you can take advantage of opportunities provided by such things as political or economic events without having to wait several hours until most of the other financial markets open for business.

Reason 2 - Investment Required. Unlike most other forms of investment, you can get into Forex trading without having to have a substantial sum of money available. The vast majority of brokerages will allow you to open an account with a relatively small investment and use their leveraging system to open trades for often as much as one hundred times your investment. You need to trade with caution at first of course but there are few investment opportunities today which offer such substantial returns for such a modest investment.

Reason 3 - Limits on Trading. Unlike the stock, equity and futures markets which place strict limits on your trading, the currency trading market places no limits on you at all and you are free to open as many trading positions as you like and for as much money as you have available to trade with. This provides you with the freedom to get into and out of the market very quickly to take advantage of short lived trading opportunities.

Reason 4 - Transparency. Most significantly, the Forex market is without doubt the most transparent market in the World and as orders are executed and transactions completed in plain sight within a matter of minutes, or often seconds, you have the peace of mind of being able to see exactly what is happening without worrying about what might be going on behind the scenes.

There are of course many other reasons which should tempt you into this very lucrative form of investment but these are perhaps the four most important. Forex trading today allows us all to take advantage of the incredible profits to be made from taking advantage of worldwide currency fluctuations. The major financial institutions have been making a fortune from currency trading for years and now even the smallest of private investors can get in on the act.

Forex Autopilot Review

Where are lots of trading robots available for Forex, but I haven't tried them all. I know that whenever you try to automate a process that will do the trading for you that you are trusting your money to a program, and that is has no thoughts or emotions. Agreed.

But, after enough playing around in this market, I think that is what I needed in an investment product. Since I trade in cash, I need to wait for my opportunity to strike for both the investment and the sale. I have only used the program for a few weeks, and I definitely have seen increased profits.

My heart isn't telling me to wait just a little longer, my mind isn't tricking me into thinking that I have some sort of magical financial intuition, instead I have told the AutoPilot how I want to trade, and it does it, without any nagging intuition. The trading is essentially automatic. It doesn't make sense for me to sit there married to my monitor when I can have the computer do it for me with better, and more safe results.

Forex AutoPilot doesn't try to wait for a magic number that may never come, it trades when the time is right, and I don't have to sit there all day waiting for that moment to happen, the AutoPilot doesn't go to the bathroom, it doesn't have any dress rehearsals to attend, and it doesn't have any dinner parties to get ready for. You can never have too many FOREX tips or tricks up your sleeve when you are trading. Most of the tips I’m including here are received wisdom, trading truisms that you should remember. They apply to all markets, but are particularly useful in a volatile and technical market like the FOREX

1.     Pay attention to the market. Exit and enter trades based on market information. Don’t wait for a price you think the currency should hit when the market has changed direction on you.

2.     There are times when, due to a lack of liquidity or excessive volatility, you should not trade at all. On a similar note, never trade when you are sick. You can’t count on yourself to be alert to the shifts of the markets, and make good decisions.

3.     Trading systems that work in an up market may not work in a down market, and a system that works for trending markets, or for range bound markets may not work in other markets. Have a system for each type of market.

4.     Up market and down market patterns are ALWAYS there, but you have to look for the dominant trends. Always select trades that move with the trends.

5.     During the blowout stage of the market, either up or down, the risk managers are usually issuing margin call position liquidation orders. They don't generally check the screen to see what’s overbought or oversold; they just keep issuing liquidation orders. Make sure you stay out of their way.

6.    Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong about a trade, don’t make it. It’s better to be superstitious than to loose money.

7.    Rumour is king. Buy when you hear the rumour, sell when you hear the news.

8.    The first and last ticks are always the most expensive. Get in the market late, and out early. And never trade in the direction of a gap, either opening or closing.

9.    When everyone else is in, it's time for you to get out. If a stock or currency is overbought, it’s time to exit your position.

10.    Don’t worry about missing out on an opportunity to trade. There will always be another good one just around the corner. If the trade you are considering doesn’t meet all your entry signals but it seems to good to pass up, remember, you’re never going to run out of trades you can make.

11.    Don’t get too confident is another useful FOREx tip. No one can predict the market with 100% accuracy. You need to always expect the unexpected. If you become uneasy, or the market becomes choppy, exit your trades.

12.    Don't turn three losing trades in a row into six. When you’re off, turn off the screen, do something else. Often the best way to break a streak of consecutive loses is to not trade for a day.

13.    This brings us to another valuable FOREX tip. Don't stop trading when you’re on a winning streak.

14.    Measure your success by the profit made in a day, not on a trade. It’s even better to measure it over two or three days. A successful trader’s goal is to make money, not to win on every trade.

15.    Scalpers reduce the number of variables affecting market risk by being in a position only for a few seconds. Day traders reduce market risk by being in trades for minutes. If you convert a scalp or day trade into a position trade, you probably didn’t analyze the risks of the trade properly.

16.    Realizing there is no secret to understanding the market is one of the FOREX tips most successful traders learn as they become more successful. You can spend much of your valuable time and money looking for these kinds of secrets. It’s better to take the time to create a solid trading system, and realize that the secret to success is hard work.

17.    Never ask for someone else's opinion, they probably didn’t do as much homework as you did anyways.

18.    When the market is going up, say it out loud. When the market is going down, say that out loud too. This FOREX tip is extremely valuable because you’ll be amazed at how hard it is to say what is going on right in front of you when you want the market to be doing something else.

Currency Day Trading

What we tend to forget as currency day traders is that losing some trades is just part of the game. There are no traders that only have profitable trades, it is impossible. It is all about the bigger picture. What do all your trades of that specific day ad up too. If on the end of the day there is a profit realised, then it was a successful day.

You have to accept this as fact and incorporate the losing trades into your system. And just go with the flow. Understanding this principle is vital to day trading, every successful day trader will tell you that its all part of it.

After you have accepted losing trades as a fact, then you are ready to incorporate them into your Forex day trading system. It is the next logical step, if you know you are going to have negative trades you wan't the best possible outcome with the lowest loss percentage out of them. You have to learn to prepare for your losing trades and manage them. One of the ways to manage them is by always setting a "Stop Loss".

A "Stop Loss" is nothing more than an insurance that your trade will close if it reaches a certain loss percentage. You do this by setting a "Stop loss" percentage into your platform before you buy or sell. Almost every brokers platform has this option build into their software. Use this option wisely cause it is vital to your forex day trading system.
I myself use a stop loss in between of 10 and 25%. Normally I do not have problems closing my trades myself, but some days you just wait too long. Fortunately then the platform closes the trade for you when the limit is reached. So this way the negative trade doesn't become a disastrous one. This doesn't mean that you have to leave it to the platform to close your negative trade. Remember you don't have to wait, when you are sure it is a losing trade close it immediately yourself. The less loss percentage the better.

And this brings me to another way to manage your negative trades. If it is a losing trade get rid of it as fast as you can, if you are uncertain if you should close the trade just close it. Live to fight another "Trade". So to conclude this article, accept some loss percentage in your trades and incorporate it into your Forex day trading system and it will help you to master currency day trading.
